About
I’m Cindy Pilcher, MS, LPC, NCC—a behavioral-health practice owner who’s done being polite about the bullshit in mental health care. I write about the parts nobody wants to touch: denial games, chargebacks, no-show chaos, credentialing purgatory, ghost networks and “closed” panels, clawbacks, underpaid insurance rates, EHR outages and portal glitches, endless audit-box-checking, and the way clients and small practices get squeezed in the middle. This isn’t a how-to blog; it’s a spotlight. Expect receipts, plain language, and uncomfortable truths. If it protects clients and keeps care honest, I’ll say it. If it doesn’t, I’ll say that louder.
